Northwind Pharmaceuticals provides prepackaged medications and manufacturer labeled pharmaceuticals for physician dispensing within the clinic. Northwind also provides medical supplies to clinics. We ship nationwide and specialize in working with worksite clinics, urgent care practices, occupational health clinics, student health centers, community health centers, weight management clinics, dental practices, and other independent medical clinics.  As physician dispensing continues to grow, the tools, processes, and service become even more critical to practitioner’s seeking to bring this high value service to their patients.

Northwind’s dispensing solution centers on software (MD Scripts) that automates the pharmaceutical dispensing process. MD ScriptsNWP Elements allows clinics to capture medication dispensing information electronically and print the prescription label from any office printer. MD Scripts will also track drug inventory and automate reordering. Our dispensing solution is used in thousands of practices nationally, automates PDMP reporting, and integrates with any EHR.  Doctor dispensing has never been easier.

Northwind also offers a manual labeling and tracking system to make the medication dispensing process as easy as possible for the practice. Northwind labeled bottles display all required pharmaceutical information and provide four peel-off labels for use on patient medical records, receipts or insurance documentation. Our dispensing log enables the clinic to write the patient’s name and medication instructions on a label that is placed on the bottle. The labels are on a carbon sheet that retains an image of the label so the clinic has a record of all dispenses.  Our goal is to accommodate your physician dispensing model as flexibly and completely as possible.

Clinics seeking to learn more about repackaged pharmaceuticals, dispensing software, or the physician dispensing process are encouraged to visit the Northwind Pharmaceuticals website or call us at 800.722.0772.
